This is sad and devastating. A man of many parts who deployed courage when most desirable; he betrayed the truth about self at all times and pursued his convictions with passion.
Oluwarotimi Odunayo Akeredolu, OON, SAN, albeit human frailties, was a good man. He was a General of the People and for the People at most unexpected moments who dared most dreadful paths even in the face of seemingly dire consequences, because in his words, NOTHING WILL HAPPEN. And indeed nothing, and only death, could have happened to AKETI.
So, when death knocks, defies human resistance and defiles resilience, it is always a rude intrusion that strikes a blow in the most obliterating manner. This, undoubtedly, is a strike of thorny strokes.
Rest on Boss!

A LEGACY OF BOLD AND BRAVE LEADERSHIP: ASIWAJU ADEGBOYEGA ADEFARATI MOURNS THE PAINFUL DEPARTURE OF HIS BOSS, ARAKUNRIN OLUWAROTIMI AKEREDOLU, SAN
The distance between life and death is the legacy established in the undulating journey to accomplish our circle as members of the human family. Death is the veil which those who live call life; they sleep, and it is lifted. The finality of death is a hard reality to deal with. Notwithstanding, it is a puzzle that only God understands. He giveth and taketh. The demise of Governor Oluwarotimi Akeredolu, SAN, is not only a personal loss but also a piercing pain.
He was a man of many parts, affable, generous, religious, courageous, bold and brave. Reasonably, Aketi was a fearless and faithful leader who took important and impactful decisions without minding whose ox is gored. Any day and anytime, he was committed to his words to the end of his life. While battling for survival, he still spoke truth to power and authority.
He served God and humanity with decency and dignity.
My boss and leader, rest in peace!
