One of the chieftains of the All Progressives Congress in Owo local government Area of Ondo State and OSOPADEC commissioner, representing Ondo north, Hon. Nuel Ola Elehinle has described the news of Governor Akeredolu’s death as a rude shock that devastated the people of Ondo State and all Nigerians.
Elehinle in a condolence message issued on Friday said the that death of Governor Akeredolu will leave a big vacuum which will be difficult to fill in the hearts of many people in Ondo state.
Elehinle said, that, it will take a longer time before a man with the like of Akeredolu’s personality would be seen in the state.
Late Governor Oluwarotimi Odunayo Akeredolu’s impacts have been felt within and outside Ondo State, which is an established fact that he lived a successful and fulfilled life.
“Akeredolu was a special being. He has written his name in history as a man who stood by his people in the face of adversity. A Fearless fighter, Voice of the Voiceless and lover of justice. He will forever be missed”.
Elehinle therefore prayed that God gives the family the fortitude to bear the irreparable loss.
