A new Commandant of the Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps, NSCDC, in Ondo state, Oluyemi Ibiloye, has assumed duty as the 20th substantive Commandant in the state.
Ibiloye’s resumption follows his deployment by the Commandant General, NSCDC, Dr Ahmed Abubakar Audi.
The new commandant took over from his predecessor, Olatundun Olayinka, who has now been redeployed to the Command national headquarters in Abuja.
Addressing the officers and men of the command on Tuesday, Ibiloye urged them to cooperate with him as he was deployed to Ondo state to consolidate on the achievement of his predecessor towards sustaining peaceful Ondo state and protection of lives and property.



He expressed his readiness to drive any officer who was not ready to discharge his duties accordingly.
The outgone commandant, Olayinka urged the officers to show the new commandant the same commitment and cooperation they showed him when he was with them.
The former Commandant who described Ondo state as peaceful and hospitable assured his successor that he would enjoy his stay in Ondo state.
