Members of the All Progressives Congress APC on Saturday converged on Oka Akoko Town Hall in hundreds to declare unwavering support for Governor Lucky Aiyedatiwa urging him to contest and lead the people of Ondo state again beyond 2024.

The enthusiasm of the Akoko South West leaders and party members electrified the ancient city of Oka Akoko in a carnival-like manner.

While assuring the people of Akoko South West of Governor Aiyedatiwa’s midas touches and democratic deliverables, the leaders unanimously appealed to members of the party to be wary of the antics of saboteurs and deceitful elements in the party as the state goes into an election this year.

Highlighting the giant strides of Governor Aiyedatiwa in the payment of salaries to civil servants, gratuity to pensioners, construction of roads, sanitizing the state through the Ministry of Environment as well as his interventions in education within the short time, party members in Akoko South West profusely appreciated the Governor for appointing three of their illustrious sons into various positions so far and like Oliver Twist, they asked for more.

The thunderous acceptance of the Governor’s political aspiration by party members across the 15 wards of Akoko South West remains a magical turnaround for the ambition of Hon. Lucky Orimisan Aiyedatiwa who the people have adjudged as a worthy example of who a leader should be. They extolled Governor Aiyedatiwa’s positive judgement and discretion in piloting the affairs of the state since the demise of his boss, Arakunrin Odunayo Akeredolu SAN, CON.
