Ahead of the November governorship election, ward youth leaders of the All Progressives Congress, APC, in the ten political wards of Ile-Oluji/Oke-Igbo area of Ondo state have endorsed the ambition of Mr Wale Akinterinwa and adopted him as the consensus candidate of the youth within the party.
The youth leaders arrived at the decision in the extraordinary youth congress summoned by the ten youth leaders and the Party’s Assistant Youth Leader earlier today at the All Progressives Congress Party Secretariat in Ile-Oluji.
During the congress, the APC Local Government Assistant Youth Leader, Hon. Olusupo Segun and other youth leaders brainstormed on all the gubernatorial aspirants within the party and unanimously agreed that Wale Akinterinwa possesses the qualities and vision needed to lead the state to greater heights coupled with the fact that he is the only aspirant from the Local Government.
They cited Akinterinwa’s track record of service and dedication to the party as key factors in their decision.
They also highlighted his commitment to youth empowerment, job creation, and infrastructural development as reasons for their endorsement.
The youth leaders expressed their belief that Akinterinwa’s leadership will bring about positive change and development in the state.
They pledged their full support and commitment to his campaign, promising to mobilize the youth in their respective wards to ensure his victory in the upcoming party primaries and governorship election.
According to the youth leaders, the endorsement of Wale Akinterinwa in ten wards of Ile-Oluji/Oke-Igbo local government is seen as a significant boost to his campaign and a demonstration of the confidence the youth have in his ability to lead.
They stressed the need to strengthen Akinterinwa’s chances of emerging as the party’s candidate and winning the governorship election.
