A campaign group within the All Progressives Congress APC in Ondo state, Lucky Aiyedatiwa Campaign Organization foot soldiers, LACO- FS, has described the claim by former Speaker, Ondo state House of Assembly, Bamidele Oleyeloogun that he did not endorse Governor Aiyedatiwa’s ambition as a move to seek political relevance in the state.
Oleyeloogun in a statement on Monday had claimed that he had endorsed the ambition of Senator Jimoh Ibrahim and would not go back to endorse someone else.
Reacting, in an interview with Roving Reporters, Mr Kayode Fasua, the State Director of Information, LACO-FS, described Oleyeloogun’s claim as laughable and coming from someone whose political career is dead.
Fasua said, “Oloyelogun’s claim that he was reported to be supporting Governor Aiyedatiwa is self-acclaimed and a laughable attempt to make himself relevant politically; at a time of his political Siberia.
“People never heard of whom he was supporting until he chose to inform us by default. The masses of Ondo State are for Aiyedatiwa and the moving train is on.
“Oloyelogun is free to join in, and if he chooses to stay in the cold, it is a matter of choice.
“Jimoh Ibrahim that he claims to support has not made such inroads as Aiyedatiwa. They are wayfarers, all.”
