Channels Television has in an unusual manner gone off air on Thursday morning.
The station was airing its popular morning show till around some minutes past 8 o’clock when it went off air and has not come back on air.
The reason for the development is yet to be known but Roving Reporters observed that its Social media is still active and reason for the sudden off air has not been made known to the public as at press time. 10:13 am.
Channels Television is a Nigerian independent 24-hour news and media television channel based in Lagos, Nigeria.
The parent company, Channels Incorporated, was founded in 1992, a year before the Nigerian government deregulated the broadcast media.
It began broadcasting in 1995. Its primary focus is producing news and current affairs programs on Nigerian domestic issues.
The Channel’s mission is to act as a watchdog on governmental policies and activities.
