•••Charges them on Mobilisation across 203 Wards
The MATO MANDATE GROUP ( MMG) a political platform under the auspices of the All Progressive Congress, APC, has started mass Mobilisation of members across the 203 wards of Ondo State towards the support of the activities of her preferred Governorship aspirant which will be unveiled soon.
The Convener of the group,Mathew Oyerinmade( MATO) at a meeting with Leaders and LG Coordinators of the group at a luncheon in Akure, Ondo State express gratitudes to members of the group for their steadfastness and dedication to the growth of the group,the party ( APC) and Ondo State in general.
Oyerinmade charged all the Leaders and the 18 LGA coordinators to intensify the Mobilisations of members across the state as the group will soon throw it’s weight behind one of the aspirants jostling for the Governorship seat of the state in the forthcoming primary election of the party that will take place in April 2024.
At the meeting, the selection committee put in place at the last Central working Committee of the group requested for an additional one week to move round the state to garner more opinions that will help in shaping the decision of the group towards the endorsement of a credible Governorship aspirant under the platform of APC.
The committee was directed to submit their report in the next one week for the group to select a date for the official endorsement of the aspirant at a grand event at Akure latest by the first week of April 2024.
Also speaking at the meeting, the Chairman of the group, Dr Rotimi Wilson and the Chairman of the Board of Trustees, Surveyor Niran Akinniyi lauded Leaders and LG Coordinators of the group for a job well done and further encourage them to continue in that stead.
The leaders said MMG as a political movement in the State will leave no stone unturned to ensure that the preferred aspirant of the group emerge victorious at the April primary election and subsequently at the Gubernatorial election of the state schedule to take place later in the year.
