Atruck conveying food items was on Monday attacked by some residents at cultural center area along Ondo road in Akure the Ondo state capital.
Roving Reporters gathered that the truck was coming from Ondo town entering the state capital when it developed fault at the spot where it was attacked and looted.
It was also gathered the food items were packed in cartons with the image of president Bola Tinubu inside the truck.
An eyewitness told Roving Reporters that those who attacked and looted the truck included Okada riders and other residents as soon as they got to know that the truck carried foodstuffs and other items.
When Roving Reporters got to the scene where the looting occurred, there were empty cartons and grains of rice and gari on the roadside and the main Ondo road while the truck has been moved.
