Donald Ojogo, House of Representatives lawmaker representing Ilaje/Ese-Odo Federal Constituency of Ondo State has described the appointment of the APC state chairman, Ade Adetimehin as the Chairman of the Governing Board of the Federal Polytechnic, Ede, Osun State, as a reflection of President Bola Tinubu’s love for the people of Ondo State.
The lawmaker also commended the appointments of other chieftains of the party in the state, Chief Alex Ajipe as a Council member of the University of Ibadan, Oyo State and Princess Omowunmi Olatunji Ohwovoriole as a Council member of Ahmadu Bello University, Zaria, Kaduna State.
According to the federal lawmaker, the appointments of the trio would help towards advancing President Bola Tinubu’s agenda of quality education in the country.
In a statement made available to newsmen on Saturday, Ojogo said, “The appointments of distinguished leaders from our great party, the All Progressive Congress (APC), in Ondo State, to the Boards of Federal Tertiary Institutions in the country, are inspiring and heartwarming news. They reflect President Bola Tinubu’s appreciation and love for the people of Ondo State.
“The appointment of our dynamic and indefatigable party’s State Chairman, Engr. Ade Adetimehin, as the Chairman of the Governing Board of the Federal Polytechnic, Ede, Osun State, is a captivating reward for his consistency and loyalty to the party. Engr. Adetimehin is a signpost of perseverance, loyalty, consistency and dedication in party politics, particularly within the progressives fold.
“Chief Alex Ajipe, one of the distinguished leaders of our party in the state, has consistently demonstrated passion and dedication to the progress and growth of the party over the years.
“He has generously invested his personal resources in the party’s success and advancement at every opportunity.
“His appointment as a Council member of the prestigious University of Ibadan, Oyo State, is truly well-deserved. There is no doubt about his ability to collaborate with other members to further enhance the reputation of the University of Ibadan.
“Similarly, Princess (Hon) Omowunmi Olatunji Ohwovoriole is known as a staunch advocate who has consistently championed the rights and empowerment of women in the state. Her continuous support for the women’s wing of our party and her unswerving loyalty have once again been duly rewarded. Her appointment as a Council member of Ahmadu Bello University, Zaria, Kaduna State, is a welcome development.
