The House of Representatives member representing Ilaje/ Ese- Odo federal constituency of ondo state, Hon Donald Ojogo has described the alignment of one of the leading Governorship Aspirants in the All Progressives Congress APC, Chief Olusola Oke SAN
with Governor Lucky Aiyedatiwa as a good development meant to further strengthen the party ahead of the November election.
Oke had declared his support for Aiyedatiwa ahead of the November 16 governorship election in the State.
Oke at a meeting of his political associates and followers at his residence in Akure on Thursday, collapsed his political structure into the campaign train of the Governor.
Reacting to the development, Ojogo said “This is a welcome development; the situation that is most important and desirable is what has happened to APC in Ondo state.
“Even though I was unable to attend in person, I sent someone to represent me and I’m part and parcel of the whole process leading to this very commendable outcome where another soft ground has been sought and covered for the party’s candidate.
“It shows the deep understanding of both Governor Aiyedatiwa and Chief Oke about politics. They have demonstrated a profound commitment to the party ; by this, we are good to go and we shall win seamlessly come November 16.”
