It was a dream come true in Ondo North Senatorial District as Senator Jide Ipinsagba facilitated Training and Empowerment on soap making for 100 constitutents.
The training under the auspices of Cocoa Research Institute of Nigeria, CRIN and BOSDEB Global Investment Limited was aimed at giving jobs to the unemployed women and youths in Ondo North Senatorial District.
Addressing beneficiaries, Senator Jide Ipinsagba said it was not enough to wait for white-collar jobs when one can gainfully engaged oneself.
Represented by Mr Olumide Abudu, Senator Ipinsagba emphasized that it is essential to get engaged in one craft, trade or the other to stabilise oneself.
“I don’t think it is advisable to wait upon white-collar jobs that may not come as Government cannot engaged everyone either graduates or non-graduates.”
“It is wise to find something doing rather than becoming nuisance to the society.”
Senator Ipinsagba assured the people of Ondo North Senatorial District of more dividends of democracy in due course as he will continue to work for his people to justify the trust imposed on him through the ballots.
Three of the participants, Ayomide Abayomi, Adegoke Grace and Sifau Jimoh expressed gratitude to Senator Ipinsagba for the empowerment gesture promising to make good use of the skills acquired in the training.
Beneficiaries cut across the 6 local government areas of the Senatorial District which include Akoko North-East, Akoko North-West, Akoko South-East, Akoko South-West, Owo and Ose.
The event was attended by political leaders, women and youth groups.
