Prince Aderosoye Fadola, Founder of the Aderosoye Fadola Foundation and a respected grassroots philanthropist, urged Nigerians to embrace dialogue with the present administration of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu in its bid to implement the Renewed Hope Agenda.
Prince Fadola emphasized that President Tinubu has been in office for merely one year and needs more time to provide remedies to the various economic challenges plaguing the nation’s socio-economic super and sub-structures.
He noted that a malignant tumor requires a surgical operation, underscoring the need for patience and cooperation.
Quoting the late Biafra warlord Odumekwu Ojukwu, Prince Fadola said, “It is better to jaw-jaw rather than war-war.”
He called for dialogue as a tool and means of resolving political and economic upheavals in the land, stressing that “our steadfastness and resolve to work for democratic sustainability and peace by providing food security as sine qua non for food insecurity should be our top priority rather than needless protests being sponsored by disgruntled elements in our unsavory political history.”
The statement further read: “There is no alternative to peace and dialogue as the only win-win choice over mass protests that can easily be hijacked by unpatriotic elements. Let peace and unity reign in our dear nation.”
Prince Fadola advised sub-national governments to key into President Tinubu’s Renewed Hope Agenda for the rapid development of critical infrastructure, which will cushion the negative effects of economic reforms.
He expressed confidence that Nigeria is in safe hands and that President Tinubu will restore the nation’s lost glory with a commitment to improving the economy.
