Prince Olomu John Bayo, has resigned his membership from the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, to join the ruling All Progressives Congress APC ahead of the November Governorship Election in Ondo state.
Prince Olomu was a Special Assistant to Agboola Ajayi when he was the deputy governor of Ondo state and his Kinsman from Ese Odo local government area of the state.
His resignation is contained in a letter addressed to the Party Chairman, People’s Democratic Party, Apoi Ward 2, Ese-Odo Local Government and made available to Roving Reporters on Saturday.
Olomu said, “I am writing to formally resign my membership from the people’s democratic party effective immediately.
“My decision is based on personal reasons. After careful consideration, I have decided to join the All Progressive Congress (APC), as I believe its values align with my political beliefs.
“I wish the party and its members all the best in their future endearvours. I remain committed to the ideals of democracy and will continue to work towards this goal.Thank you for your understanding in this matter.”
