Philip Shaibu, the Edo State Deputy Governor on Tuesday raised suspicion that there is Evil Spirit in the Governor’s Office changing the mind of whoever occupies the seat to govern the state.
Shaibu stated this while featuring on channel TV’s Sunrise Daily on Tuesday.
He said there’s one spirit on that Governor’s seat and we must come together to attack the evil spirit that turned the mindset of whoever becomes the governor from doing the right thing.
“We must destroy the sprit now so that the governor-elect will do better than Obaseki.“ He Said.
He explained that the Obaseki he knew had a good plans and Programmes for Edo State but suddenly changed as soon as he got to the seat.
He also said, “I joined the PDP because of my loyalty to my governor (Godwin Obaseki)…I left the APC because of him and returned to the APC because of him.
God has used him for me to be able to reunite with my godfather, Comrade Adams Oshiomhole.“
Asked about the whereabouts of Governor Obaseki, Shaibu said, “Governor and I have been a little bit apart…. I’ve not seen him for the past four days, I’ve not heard from him as he doesn’t communicate with me and we don’t talk to each other.“
He said, “I have been funding the office of the deputy governor by myself for the past 19 months. Governor Obaseki has not released any funds for the office of the deputy governor of Edo State for the past 19 months.
“But to the glory of God, I am not owing any staff even the security but the government is owing me… Its only God that can do the magic.“
