Our attention has been drawn to some sponsored reports circulating on some sections of the social media, claiming false voting figures from Sasere town, Unit 5, Ward 9 in Ondo East local government. In the concocted report,the Speaker of Ondo State House of Assembly,Rt Hon Oladiji Landmark Olamide, Landmark Oladiji was alleged to have lost this unit to the opposition- a total fallacy and lie!
We hereby clarify that the Rt. Hon Speaker,Oladiji Olamide won his Unit 5, Ward 9 of Ondo East LGA, handsomely with a significant margin of 113votes. The PDP garnered 61 votes while the APC scored 174 votes.
For the sake of the unsuspecting public, we again restate that Speaker Oladiji won his polling unit,Ward and LGA for the APC in yesterday’s gubernatorial election.
The general public is advised to disregard any sponsored political hatchet job to the contrary pls.
