TheSpeaker, the Ondo State House of Assembly, Olamide Oladiji has recalled members of the Assembly to suspend their recess for what he described as legislative activities.
The Lawmakers were directed to resume legislative activities at 9 a.m. on Tuesday, December 10, 2024.
The Speaker made this directive in a statement he personally signed and made available to Newsmen in Akure, on Friday.
According to the statement, the lawmakers are being recalled to address some urgent legislative matters.
The Speaker, who apologised for any inconvenience the announcement might have caused, expressed gratitude for their cooperation and unwavering commitment to the people of Ondo State.
It will be recalled that the lawmakers were initially scheduled to resume on 17th December 2024.
Oladiji also wished them safe journeys as they prepare to resume on Tuesday, 10th December 2024, for legislative activities.
