A prominent APC Chieftain in Ifedore Local Government and grassroots philanthropist, Omooba Emmanuel Aderosoye Fadola, has described the recent incident in Ofosun, Idanre Local Government, as a frivolous, whimsical, and futile academic exercise.
He called on security agencies to arrest and prosecute those responsible for sponsoring acts capable of disrupting the peaceful atmosphere enjoyed by the good people of Ondo State under the leadership of Governor Lucky Orimisan Ayedatiwa.
In a statement personally signed on Sunday, 15th December 2024, Omooba Aderosoye condemned the act as shameful and tagged it “quibbles merely invented to satisfy the narrow political agenda of retrogressive agents of destabilization.”
He described the incident as lacking rigor or substance and dismissed it as political theatrics with no bearing on the progress of Ondo State.
Aderosoye further condemned the purported suspension of the APC State Chairman, Engr. Ade Adetimehin, and the placement of fetish objects at the party secretariat, calling it a desperate, narcissistic move that runs counter to democratic principles.
He commended the Ofosun Ward Chairman for his swift and decisive response in debunking the fake suspension, thereby nipping the unnecessary intrigues in the bud.
The business mogul turned politician described Engr. Adetimehin as a doyen, an adroit human resource manager, and an astute politician.
According to Aderosoye, “Adetimehin’s unassuming, simplistic, and altruistic disposition has caused political unease in the camp of detractors.
He is, arguably, one of the most celebrated State Chairmen of the APC in Nigeria and has never been found wanting.”
Aderosoye also lauded Ondo State Governor, Dr. Lucky Orimisan Ayedatiwa, for his visionary leadership and unwavering support for the State APC Chairman. He wished both the Governor and the Chairman continued success in their respective tenures.
