••• As Constituents Appreciate his Yuletide Gesture
Member representing Ilaje/Ese-Odo Federal Constituency in the House of Representatives, Hon Donald Kimikanboh Ojogo has assured constituents that the New Year, 2025 will usher in more fruitful and inclusive results.
In his New Year message, Ojogo saluted the resilience of the people of Ilaje/Ese-Odo even as he expressed gratitude for their prayers for him in the last one year.
“As humanity witnesses another year with hope, we must give thanks to Almighty God for the gift of life and for allowing us partake in His Grace and Mercy. Notwithstanding whatever we go through as individuals and as people, our hearts must be full of praises for Him.
“This very unique day, like others, comes with varied expectations and desires; and these are all nursed because we all survived the battles of the previous time. In this particular case, even though our resilience is worthy of commendation, the rare privilege of seeing the New Year could only have been God’s doing.
“Therefore, ours should be a case of more prayers and supplications to Him alone that makes this possible always, in all ways. It is in this regard that I’m particularly grateful to God for sparing my life, like all, to witness the year 2025. Your prayers worked; our collective supplications to God did the magic.
“Expectedly, it is incumbent that I double my efforts to ensure whatever lost gap is bridged with desired results. And very shortly, as we commence the next legislative session, my actions will testify greatly to match my words”, Ojogo assures.
Meanwhile, the people of Ilaje/Ese-Odo federal constituency in Ondo State are still basking in the joy and generosity of their representative, Hon. Ojogo, who recently doled out a whopping ₦53.6 million to various individuals and groups within the constituency. The funds, which were disbursed just a few days ago, have brought smiles to the faces of many residents.
This kind gesture, which came just in time for the Yuletide celebration, has been hailed as a demonstration of Hon. Ojogo’s commitment to the welfare and well-being of his constituents.
Reacting via a message, Special Assistant to the governor on NigerDelta Affairs and Amnesty, Hon. Akin Omojuwa said:
“Your influence and backing have been instrumental in bringing joy and relief to the ex-agitators of Ondo State, particularly during this festive season”.
Speaking on behalf of Persons Living with Disabilities who were not left out in the largesse, Comrade Ikuomola Olubadewo Pedro prayed for Ojogo’s sound health, Upliftment and Preservation
The gesture has also been seen as a testament to Hon. Ojogo’s reputation as a caring and responsive representative. Rev. Shem Ikuomola, founder God’s Appraisal Zion Church International said “this gesture came at the right time and the people are grateful for it.
Hon. Ojogo’s gesture has also been praised by Traditional leaders and stakeholders, who have described it as a timely intervention that will go a long way in alleviating the economic hardships faced by many.
His Imperial Majesty, Oba Segun Akinyomi thanked the MHR for not leaving the custodians of customs and traditions behind in decision making.
As the year draws to a close, the people of Ilaje/Ese-Odo are grateful for Hon. Ojogo’s representation and are looking forward to more developmental projects and initiatives in the coming year.
