The veteran gospel singer, Mama Deborah Fasoyin, has disclosed that the evergreen Christmas song, Odun n lo sopin (The year is ending), did not originate from her.
According to her, the real composer of the evergreen song is still unknown till date.
She explained that the singing team that she led in Ibadan , the CAC Good Women Choir, only composed and added some verses to the song.
Mama Fasoyin stated this in an interview with Newsmen.
She however said the song belonged to the Christ Apostolic Church.
The gospel singer who wondered why everybody was referring to her as Mama, said she was a sweet sixteen despite her age.
Although she attends Daystar Church in Lagos, Mama Fasoyin who claimed she is still a member of the CAC, however noted that there is no denomination in heaven.
