Preparations are in top gear for the inauguration of Governor Lucky Aiyedatiwa in office for the next four years.
The state government has in the last few days commenced renovation and beautification of the Ondo state sport complex, venue of the swearing-in ceremony considering the caliber of visitors invited for the event.
Roving Reporters went round the state capital on Sunday and observed a new look right from the Akure Airport through to the venue of the swearing in ceremony.
The road median and road sides from the Airport to the city has also repainted black and white as part of the beautification of the city.
Similarly, banners with governor Aiyedatiwa’s portraits with different inscriptions were fixed to street light poles on the Major road.
On Sunday Morning, some workers were seen putting finishing touches to the painting on the major road.
It was however observed that the road median painting terminated at the cathedral junction while other Major roads along Arakale to Ondo road has not been painted as of the press time.

Roving Reporters gathered that some visiting personalities and other invited dignitaries have started arriving ondo state while most Hotels have also been fully booked.
As part of activities lined up for the swearing in ceremony, Jumat Service had been held on Friday at the Akure Central Mosque.





On Saturday, there was a Beach Sunsplash at Araromi Seaside in Ilaje Local Government Area governor Lucky Aiyedatiwa addressed a World Press Conference showcasing the tourism potential of the site.
On Sunday, a Church Thanksgiving Service is scheduled to hold at the Redeemed Christian Church of God, Jesus House, Oke-Ijebu, Akure.
Governor Aiyedatiwa will be sworn in at the Ondo state sport complex Akure on Monday.
