The Coalition of Ondo Youth and Community Organizations (COYCO) has called on the people of Ondo South, urging them to take charge of their future by supporting High Chief Bamidele Omosehin for the Senate ahead of the 2027 election.
Specifically, the group asked the people of the six local councils in the senatorial district to support the aspiration of Omosehin for the national assembly seat.
The coalition insists that the destiny of the region must not be left today’s chance to chance but deliberately secured by a leader with a track record of integrity, service, and commitment to development.
Addressing a press conference in Okitipupa, the leader and Executive Director of COYCO, Comrade, Olafeso Joshua Oladipupo, called on every well-meaning sons and daughters of On the National representation: Ondo South youths endorse High Chief Bamidele Omosehin
Oladipupo stressed that Omosehin is not just a leader in words but in action, having demonstrated unwavering dedication to youth empowerment, economic growth, and community development.
He said, “For years, we have championed policies that uplift our people, fought for youth inclusion in governance, and worked tirelessly to bridge the gap between government and the grassroots.
“Now, we must take the next bold step, ensuring that a true servant of the people represents us at the national level,” COYCO declared.
Oladipupo added that Omosehin’s contributions to society have positioned him as a leader whose impact is felt in every corner of Ondo South.
He added, “through the Bamidele Omosehin Foundation (BOF), he has provided scholarships for indigent students and organised free medical outreaches, ensuring that education and healthcare are accessible to those who need them most.
“Beyond philanthropy, his work through the Bamidele Omosehin Group (BOG) has fostered economic opportunities for entrepreneurs, young professionals, and job seekers.
” His commitment to sports development, youth empowerment, and business incubation reflects his vision for a self-sustaining region where individuals do not merely survive but thrive”

Representing NANS Okitipupa said High Chief Bamidele Omosehin has remained close to the grassroots, listening to the people’s concerns and advocating for infrastructural development.
He noted that his support for local businesses, road projects, and vulnerable groups, including the elderly and widows further solidifies his reputation as a leader who prioritises community welfare.
He added, “Having critically examined the needs of Ondo South, COYCO firmly believes that High Chief Bamidele Omosehin is the right leader to represent the region at the national level.
“We declared that this is not the time for career politicians but for true servants of the people who can drive meaningful progress.
“With High Chief Bamidele Omosehin, we are choosing progress.

A community Youth Leader, from Irele, Gbenga Akinboye sought the support of the people of the south senatorial district for Omosehin.
