Akoko North-East Chairman Inspects Awara-Oyinmo 7km Road Project

The executive chairman of Akoko North East Local Government, Hon. Mohammed Mutiu Olawale embarked on an inspection tour of the 7km Awara- Oyinmo ongoing road construction project linking our local government to neighbouring state (Ekiti state).

The project aims to improve connectivity, facilitate trade, and enhance economic development in our region.

This road project is a critical infrastructure initiative that will have a transformative impact on our local economy and the lives of our people. Upon completion, it will reduce travel time, improve road safety, and increase access to markets, services, and opportunities.

Hon Chairman expressed his gratitude to the Fadama Project Coordinator for his swift intervention in addressing the road’s deplorable condition.

He assured that his administration would continue to partner with relevant authorities to facilitate more development projects in Akoko North East.

Recall that when he was the chairman of transition committee of Akoko North East Local Government, he solicited support from the Fadama Project Coordinator for the grading of various roads and construction of culverts, including the Awara-Oyimo road.

The project’s implementation is a testament to the Chairman’s commitment to improving the lives of his constituents.

The visionary chairman also promised to continue to monitor the project’s progress and work closely with all stakeholders to ensure its timely completion.
