The Ondo state government has directed the cancellation of restriction of human and vehicular movements on Saturday, 26th of April 2025 during the monthly environmental sanitation exercise.
The Chairman of the Ondo State Waste Management Authority, Mrs Olayinka Alabi disclosed this to Roving Reporters on Friday.
She explained that while there would be no restriction of movements on Saturday, residents are to clean their environment as expected.
According to Alabi, the restriction cancellation was informed by the ongoing 2025 Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME) across the state.
She said, “We earlier wanted to issue restriction order but because of the candidates writing the ongoing UTME.
“There won’t be restriction of movement but I am urging residents of Ondo state to ensure they clean their environment. It is important for good health and a healthy environment, she said.”
