The Aviation Minister, Festus Keyamo SAN, has urged members of the All Progressives Congress APC across the country to drop their personal ambitions to support President Bola Tinubu for him to win the 2027 election and continue various reforms of his administration meant to make Nigeria a better country.
According to Keyamo, it will be tragic for the country for any other Political party to oust APC and President Tinubu in the forthcoming Election.
The Aviation Minister stated this while featuring on Politics Today on Channels Television and monitored by Roving Reporters on Monday.
Answering questions on the recent defection of Delta state Governor to the APC and how it would affect the interest of Senator Ovie Omo-agege within the party, Keyamo said, “The most profound thing I will say here today is that every single APC member in this country today should be concentrating on the re-election of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, irrespective of whether it affects your personal interest or not, because he does need a second term to fully finish up all these reforms.
“It will be tragic for any government to come in 2027, and stop these reforms. This is what has happened in the past before, where you have all kinds of in quotes policies that were implemented.This is a very important economic transformative period that we are.
“So long as we are strengthening the APC the more for the re-election of Mr President, I don’t care whether it affects me I don’t care whether I lose our political structure, I don’t care. Mr President must be re-elected.”
