Aiyedatiwa returns to Teaching After 35 Years Break

In what can be described as a display of his exceptional skill and ability in teaching as well as imparting knowledge in a learning environment, Governor Lucky Aiyedatiwa of ondo state on Thursday entered into the class again after 35 years he last held chalk to teach.

Aiyedatiwa showed his teaching prowess at St. James Mega Primary School, Irowo, Akure after the official flag-off ceremony for the distribution of instructional materials and sports equipment to public primary and junior secondary schools across the 18 local government areas of the state.

The event was part of the implementation of the 2023 and 2024 UBEC/SUBEB intervention funds.

In a video obtained by Roving Reporters, the Governor was seen teaching the pupils of the school forms of Drugs and asking questions from them.

The video has however generated reactions as people commended the governor for showing love and making the pupils have a memorable experience that would linger on for many years.

Aiyedatiwa attended Lagos State College of Education (now Adeniran Ogunsanya College of Education), Ijanikin, Lagos where he obtained Nigeria Certificate in Education (NCE) in Economics and Government in 1986.

In 1987 he was assistant head teacher at Reliance International Schools, Ijokodo, Ibadan, Oyo state till he left in 1990.
