The Ondo State Police Command has confirmed the abduction of Nelson Adepoyigi, an All Progressive Congress APC Chieftain in Ifon, Ose local government Area of the state.
Adepoyigi, Chairman APC, Ifon ward 5 in Ose LGA, was reportedly kidnapped by unknown gunmen from his house in Ifon on Monday evening.
Confirming the incident, the Police Public Relations Officer Olushola Ayanlade said the politician was kidnapped at the entrance of his Farm.
He said, “I can confirm to you that the chairman APC ward 5 was kidnapped at the entrance of his farm along Ifon-Owo road.
“At the receipt of the report the DPO Ifon in collaboration with the hunters , local VGN and Nigeria Army personnel have launched a manhunt for the suspects.”
