In a move to strengthen the State Executive Council, the Governor of Ondo State, Dr. Lucky Orimisan Aiyedatiwa, has submitted a list of 12 commissioner nominees to the Ondo State House of Assembly for screening and confirmation.
The request, conveyed in a formal letter addressed to the Speaker of the House, Rt. Hon. Olamide Oladiji, was made in accordance with Section 192 (1 & 2) of the Constitution of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, 1999 (as amended).
A statement signed by Prince Ebenezer Adeniyan, Chief Press Secretary to the Governor said Aiyedatiwa urged the Assembly to give prompt consideration to the nominees in the interest of effective governance and continued service delivery to the people of the state.
The nominees are as follows:

Otunba Adewale Akinlosotu
Mr. Idowu Ajanaku

Mr. Omoyofunmi Segun Henry
The Governor expressed confidence that the nominees would bring valuable expertise and commitment to their respective roles if confirmed.
