Hon. Olakunle Michael Afolabi, popularly known as Hon. Mikey and Special Adviser to the Ondo State Governor on Mobilization, has commended Governor Lucky Aiyedatiwa for nominating individuals with strong professional and political backgrounds into the State Executive Council.
He described the nominations as a step in the right direction towards consolidating the governor’s developmental strides.
In a congratulatory message made available to the press, Hon. Mikey specifically lauded the nomination of Engr. Ayorinde Abiola Olawoye, FNSE, FNICE, hailing him as a thoroughbred professional with a proven track record in engineering and public service.
He expressed confidence that Engr. Olawoye’s wealth of experience and dedication to excellence will greatly enhance the infrastructural and technical development of the state.
He also extended his warm congratulations to Hon. Sunday Olajide, representing Akure South, describing him as a grassroots politician with deep connections to the people and the capacity to deliver results.
According to Hon. Mikey, the inclusion of individuals like Olajide in the cabinet demonstrates Governor Aiyedatiwa’s resolve to balance professionalism with political inclusiveness.
While expressing optimism about the prospects of all the 12 new nominees, Hon. Mikey urged them to remain focused, loyal, and committed to the administration’s vision for a better Ondo State.
He assured them of his continuous support and prayed for wisdom, strength, and success as they prepare to take up their new roles in service to the people.
