Civil Service Commission Opens Applications for Qualified Graduates
The Ondo State Civil Service Commission has announced the commencement of recruitment into the state’s Ministry of Agriculture and Forestry, calling on qualified graduates to apply for the positions of Forest and Produce Officers.
According to a public statement signed by the Administrative Secretary, Omotayo Akeju, applications are invited for employment at Salary Grade Level 08 within the Forestry and Produce Sub-sector of the Ministry, located at Alagbaka, Akure.
Who Can Apply?
Applicants must hold a relevant university degree and meet the qualifications listed below:
For Forest Officer Positions, eligible degrees include:
Forestry
Forest Resource Management
Agriculture
Agronomy
Plant Zoology
Botany/Biology
Forest Engineering
Forest Utilization
Timber Technology or Wood Science
For Produce Officer Positions, candidates must possess:
A degree in Agricultural or Biological Sciences from a recognized university.
General Requirements for All Applicants:
Must have completed the National Youth Service Corps (NYSC) or provide evidence of exemption.
Must be physically and mentally fit.
Must not be older than 45 years.
Must submit a valid certificate of State of Origin.
Must present a birth certificate or sworn affidavit of age declaration.
Application forms can be obtained from the Appointment Registry at the Civil Service Commission headquarters in Akure. The deadline for submission is Tuesday, 15th July, 2025.
The Commission urges only suitably qualified candidates to apply, stressing that those who do not meet the stipulated requirements should refrain from submitting applications.
This recruitment drive is part of the state’s continued efforts to strengthen forest and agricultural resource management and create employment opportunities for qualified professionals.
