Former Ondo State student leader, Arokobolade Sunday (RN, RPHN, BNSC), has extended his heartfelt congratulations to Dr Banji Ajaka and Hon. Omoyofunmi Henry on their appointment as commissioners in Ondo State by Governor Lucky Aiyedatiwa.

Describing their appointments as well-deserved and timely, Arokobolade praised the Governor for recognizing competence, grassroots connection, and youthful vibrancy in his cabinet picks.

“This is a moment of pride not just for me, but for many of us who have walked the paths of youth leadership, activism, and public service. I celebrate Banji Ajaka and Hon. Omoyofunmi for this honourable call to service,” he said.

“Governor Aiyedatiwa has once again proven that he listens to the yearnings of the people. Appointing visionary and accessible leaders like Ajaka and Omoyofunmi shows a deep understanding of the need for continuity, credibility, and community-based governance,” Arokobolade added.

The former president of the then school of nursing Akure described Banji Awolowo Ajaka as a man of intellectual depth and administrative competence, whose humility and grassroots connection are unmatched.

Arokobolade equally described Hon. Omoyofunmi Segun Henry as a true bridge-builder, whose political journey has consistently been rooted in fairness, youth development, and community empowerment.

“These appointments are not just political placements; they are seeds of hope for a new Ondo State. I believe Ajaka and Omoyofunmi will deliver and contribute meaningfully to the progress of our dear Sunshine State,” Arokobolade said.

He further urged the appointees to remain true to the values that earned them the governor’s confidence while calling on the people of Ondo State to support the new commissioners in their service to the state.

“We are counting on you to shine the light, uphold integrity, and always remember the streets and voices that lifted you. I am proud to call you brothers, comrades, and now honourable commissioners,” he concluded.
