Member of the Ondo State House of Assembly representing Ileoluji/Okeigbo Constituency, Hon. Nelson Akinsuroju, has applauded the legislative strides and developmental efforts of Hon. Festus Ayodele Adefiranye, Member representing Ileoluji/Okeigbo/Odigbo Federal Constituency in the House of Representatives.
In a congratulatory statement, Akinsuroju described Adefiranye’s scorecard since 2023 as both “impactful and people-centered,” noting that his record speaks volumes across infrastructure, legislative advocacy, and human capital development.
“From championing motions for the rehabilitation of critical roads like the Ore–Ondo–Akure corridor, responding to emergencies such as the Ore fire disaster, to pushing for the completion of long-abandoned electricity projects in Okeigbo–Awopeju–Igbo-Olodumare, Hon. Adefiranye has consistently placed the people first,” Akinsuroju said.
The federal lawmaker’s legislative achievements also include sponsoring bills for the establishment of a Federal College of Nursing & Midwifery in Okeigbo, and a constitutional amendment to strengthen Federal Medical Centres.
On infrastructure, Adefiranye has facilitated a 4km road project within the constituency, constructed classrooms, installed boreholes, transformers, and streetlights across all 21 wards.
He is currently overseeing the development of a 300-capacity Technical Hub and a 40-bed hospital in Okeigbo—projects Akinsuroju described as “transformational.”
Beyond physical infrastructure, Adefiranye has empowered over 400 constituents with tools and vocational equipment.
His youth employment efforts span immigration, education, and health sectors, while also facilitating international opportunities, leadership trainings for traditional rulers, and spiritual support through the sponsorship of over 70 pilgrims.
“These are not mere numbers—they represent real lives uplifted, communities improved, and futures made secure,” Akinsuroju affirmed.
He concluded by celebrating Hon. Adefiranye as “a beacon of excellence and an inspiration to all,” praying for greater impact in his legislative journey.
