••• Says 2027 Posters Mischievous, Unauthorized
Former Chairman of the Presidential Amnesty Programme, Hon. Kingsley Kuku, has denied reports linking him with a defection to the African Democratic Congress (ADC), insisting he remains a committed member of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP).
Kuku, in a statement issued by his aide, Eric Pere Yanyangbini, described the publication and circulating posters suggesting his senatorial ambition under ADC as “false, misleading, and unauthorized.”
“Hon. Kingsley Kuku remains a committed and loyal member of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) and has no intention of leaving the PDP for any other platform,” the statement said.
He revealed that he met with PDP elders earlier in the day, where discussions were held to strengthen party structures ahead of future political engagements.
Kuku dismissed the alleged 2027 ambition under another party as pure fiction, warning mischief-makers to desist from circulating “reckless fabrications.”
“For the record, if Hon. Kingsley Kuku decides to contest in 2027, it shall strictly be on the platform of the PDP. Those behind this mischievous act are warned to desist forthwith, as such reckless fabrications will no longer be tolerated,” the statement concluded.
