Akure, August 22, 2025 – Hon. Ganny Dauda, a frontline All Progressives Congress (APC) State Chairmanship aspirant, has called on the people of Ondo State to prioritize their voter registration as the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) continues its Continuous Voter Registration (CVR) exercise.
Dauda emphasized that the Permanent Voter’s Card (PVC) remains the most powerful instrument available to citizens in shaping governance and determining the direction of the state.
“The PVC is not just a card,” he said, “it is the voice of the people, the mandate of the electorate, and the key to the future of our state and nation. Registering to vote is both a right and a civic duty.”
He urged all eligible residents to seize the opportunity to register online via cvr.inecnigeria.org and complete their biometric capture at designated INEC centers beginning August 25, 2025.
According to him, massive participation in the exercise will not only strengthen democracy but also guarantee that the voices of Ondo people are heard in the coming elections.
“Good governance begins with credible elections,” Dauda added, stressing that citizens must not allow indifference or negligence to rob them of the power to decide their leaders.
The APC hopeful reaffirmed his commitment to promoting civic responsibility, unity, and participatory democracy in the state.
