Ambassador Akintunde Akintayo has congratulated Ondo State Governor, Lucky Aiyedatiwa, on the Supreme Court verdict that affirmed his victory in the November 2024 governorship election.
Describing the judgment as “a triumph for democracy,” Akintayo, who is the founder of the Akin-Akintayo Foundation, urged indigenes of Ondo State to close ranks and rally behind the Governor in the spirit of unity and progress.
He noted that the Supreme Court’s final pronouncement had not only validated the people’s mandate but also opened a fresh chapter for peace, stability, and development in the Sunshine State.
“Together, let us build on this fresh mandate of hope and move our state to greater heights. May the Almighty guide Governor Aiyedatiwa in service to the people,” Akintayo said.
He further commended the Governor’s focus and humility in the face of months of political and legal distractions, stressing that the apex court’s affirmation should serve as a unifying point for all political actors in the state.
