The Commander of 32 Artillery Brigade, Nigerian Army, Brigadier General Justin Ifeanyi, has decorated five officers recently elevated from the rank of Captain to Major.
The ceremony took place on September 16, 2025, at the Officers’ Mess, Owena Cantonment, Akure.
Brigadier General Ifeanyi, in his address, expressed appreciation to the Chief of Army Staff (COAS), Lieutenant General Olufemi Oluyede, for approving the promotions.
He congratulated the officers and urged them to serve as role models to their subordinates by upholding hard work, loyalty, and dedication to duty.
The newly promoted officers are Major T.S. Ogunlade, Major M.M. Gedu, Major E.O. Okakah, Major R.D. Yusuph, and Major O.P. Okolie.
Speaking on behalf of his colleagues, Major Toyin Ogunlade thanked the COAS for the recognition and pledged renewed commitment and professionalism in the discharge of their duties.
The event was graced by dignitaries including the Speaker of the Ondo State House of Assembly, Rt. Hon. Olamide Olajide, the Vice Chairman of Ondo West Local Government, Hon. Oluwole Bashiru, as well as family members, friends, and well-wishers.
