Hon. Elisha Ebijimi, Special Adviser to the Ondo State Governor on Erosion Control and Flood-Related Matters, has congratulated Governor Lucky Aiyedatiwa on his victory at the Supreme Court, which affirmed his election as governor of the state.

Ebijimi, in a statement, described the ruling as a triumph of democracy and a judicial validation of the people’s mandate freely given to Aiyedatiwa and his deputy, Dr. Olaide Adelami, during the November 16, 2024 governorship election.

The Supreme Court, in its judgment delivered in Abuja, dismissed the appeals filed by Hon. Agboola Ajayi of the PDP, Bamidele Akingboye of the SDP, and Ogunfeyimi Kolawole of the APM, thus bringing to an end all legal disputes over the election.

“Litigation is part of the electoral process, but this judgment has conferred greater credibility on the Ondo governorship election. Now is the time for peace and unity as we rally behind His Excellency to move Ondo State to greater heights,” Ebijimi stated.

He also appealed to residents to support the governor’s administration for the overall progress and development of the state.
