Nigeria at 65: Nigeria Must Stand United – Regent of Ayede Ogbese

As Nigeria celebrates her 65th Independence Anniversary, the Regent of Ayede Ogbese in Akure North local government of Ondo state, HRH Princess (Dr.) Olufunto Oluyede-Campbell, has extended heartfelt wishes of peace, unity, and prosperity to the nation and its people.

In her goodwill message, Princess Oluyede-Campbell described the milestone as a time of renewed hope and reflection, urging citizens to embrace progress and unity in the collective journey of building a stronger Nigeria.

“On this 65th Independence Anniversary of our dear nation, and as we enter a new month, we extend blessings of peace, unity and prosperity to Nigeria and to all our people. May this season bring renewed hope, progress, and enduring joy to every home,” the Regent declared.

The message was delivered on behalf of the Office of HRM Alaiyeluwa Oba Ajibola Olaleye Oluyede (Ise-Oluwa II), the Alayede of Ayede Ogbese (1958–2023), reflecting the town’s continuous commitment to national growth and harmony.

The Regent emphasized the need for Nigerians to hold fast to unity despite challenges, stressing that the future of the country lies in the collective determination of its people.
