As Nigeria marks her 65th Independence anniversary, Ambassador Akintunde Akintayo has called on citizens to remain united and committed to the task of nation building.
In a goodwill message on Tuesday, the Founder of the Akin Akintayo Foundation described the anniversary as a celebration of the country’s resilience, rich culture, and the unity that has held the nation together under one flag.
He stressed that beyond reflecting on the nation’s journey so far, the milestone should serve as “a call to action for how much further we must go in shaping the Nigeria of our dreams.”
According to him, Nigeria’s future lies in the collective hands of its people, adding that the path to greatness can only be achieved through peace, progress, patriotism, and service to humanity.
“As we raise our flag high today, let us renew our commitment to unity and nation building. The Nigeria of our dreams is possible if we all work together,” he said.
Akintayo congratulated Nigerians on the occasion of the Independence Day celebration and urged them never to lose hope in the country’s promise of greatness.
