In a decisive move to consolidate support for President Bola Ahmed Tinubu ahead of the 2027 general elections, the All Progressives Congress (APC) Elders Movement for Tinubu 2027 has unveiled plans for an extensive statewide mobilization campaign across Ondo State.
The group, led by its Coordinator, Otunba Agboola Kelly, held a strategic planning meeting in Akure to finalize logistics for the engagement series set to kick off next week.
Speaking after the session, Otunba Kelly emphasized that the initiative is focused on deepening grassroots loyalty and reinforcing the president’s Renewed Hope Agenda.
“This is about consolidation, not confrontation,” Kelly stated, adding that the upcoming town halls and community meetings will energize the APC base and reaffirm Ondo’s loyalty to President Tinubu.
Supporting the move, Chief Liadi Ekunnusi explained that the mobilization will cut across all 18 local government areas, engaging elders, youths, women, and community leaders.
“Every voice matters, and every supporter will be empowered to own this movement,” Ekunnusi noted.
According to the group, the series of meetings will recharge party structures, reinvigorate local coordinators, and prepare for what they described as a “landslide victory” come 2027.
Youth and women’s wings are also being activated, while unions, trade groups, and market associations are being brought on board to ensure an inclusive political coalition.
With its message of unity and strategic coordination, the APC Elders Movement declared that Ondo remains a solid fortress for President Tinubu, pledging unwavering commitment to the Renewed Hope vision.
