A chieftain of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Ondo State, Chief Oluwaseyi Gabriel Ogundare, has hailed Governor Lucky Orimisan Aiyedatiwa for what he described as transformative and people-focused leadership that is repositioning the Sunshine State for real development.

Chief Ogundare, an Imoru-born technocrat and philanthropist from Ose Local Government Area, said the governor’s recent policy decisions and infrastructure rollouts have rekindled public trust in government and restored confidence in the APC’s progressive ideals.

He particularly praised the governor for clearing the 13-month salary arrears owed staff of Rufus Giwa Polytechnic, Owo (RUGIPO), describing the gesture as “a landmark act of empathy and responsible governance.”

“Governor Aiyedatiwa’s leadership reflects the true spirit of progressivism — one that listens, acts, and delivers,” Ogundare said. “From workers’ welfare to youth empowerment, what we are witnessing is restoration in motion.”

Ogundare also commended the administration’s approval of 101 kilometers of new and rehabilitated roads across the state, the upgrading of ministry buildings, and the launch of the O’DATIWA U-17 Football Competition, which he said underscores the government’s commitment to youth development and social inclusion.

The APC stalwart further lauded President Bola Ahmed Tinubu for his Renewed Hope Agenda, which he said continues to inspire state-level reforms across the federation.

“With Governor Aiyedatiwa at the helm, Ondo is back on the path of sustainable growth,” he said. “His track record of decisive action and people-first policies shows that the era of stagnation is over.”

He urged residents to rally behind the governor, noting that continued public support would help consolidate the gains of the current administration and cement Ondo’s reputation as a model of purposeful leadership.
