Chief Olamide Falana has once again demonstrated her commitment to women welfare and grassroots development by engaging women across Ilaje and Ese Odo Federal Constituency, where she empowered over 400 nursing mothers with diapers and other essential items.
The women-focused initiative was organised to promote women’s empowerment, protect their rights, and encourage their active participation in social, economic, and political processes, while also gaining firsthand understanding of their challenges and the urgent need for effective legislative intervention.

In Ese Odo Local Government Area, the engagement took place on November 19, 2025, at the Basic Health Centre, Arogbo, and the Basic Health Centre, Igbotu.
The programme continued on November 20, 2025, in Ilaje Local Government Area at the General Hospital and Basic Health Centre, Igbokoda.
The events attracted notable personalities and community stakeholders, including APC chieftain Mrs Yemi Megbabi from Ese Odo, Mr Kokorisa, Mrs Mafo Atitebi, High Chief Asorogbayi, Mrs Olu-Ajibola, Mrs Olatubora, the Ese Odo NCWS President, Mrs Ajiboyede, and the Ilaje NCWS President, among others.
Women beneficiaries expressed profound gratitude to Chief Olamide Falana, describing her as a compassionate and visionary leader genuinely committed to the welfare of the people.
They affirmed that she possesses the qualities required to represent Ilaje and Ese Odo at the National Assembly and offered prayers for her success.

Many also voiced strong optimism that she would soon emerge as the first female representative of the constituency in the House of Representatives, applauding her consistent grassroots engagement and people-oriented leadership approach.
