A prominent chieftain of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Ondo State, Chief Olugbenga Eleduma, has been honoured with the Servant of Humanity Award by the Bethesda Movement, Owo.

The honour was presented at a well-attended ceremony in Owo on Sunday, in recognition of his exceptional contributions to humanitarian service, community development, youth empowerment, and sustainable growth across Owo Kingdom and Ondo State.

In his acceptance speech, an elated Chief Eleduma dedicated the award to the people of Owo and Ondo State, describing it as “a call to do even more.”

“This honour does not belong to me alone. It belongs to every child supported through my foundation, every widow who has received succour, every youth empowered, and every community touched by our collective efforts.
I am only a vessel; the real heroes are the people we serve,”
he said.

In its citation, the Bethesda Movement commended Eleduma for his “selfless service, integrity in leadership, and massive contributions to education, healthcare, poverty alleviation and peace-building initiatives,” describing him as “a shining example of purposeful leadership in politics and philanthropy.”

The event attracted traditional rulers, religious leaders, APC stalwarts, and community stakeholders, who hailed the award as well-deserved and praised Chief Eleduma as “a rare blend of political wisdom and genuine compassion.”

Chief Olugbenga Eleduma, an Abuja-based businessman and renowned philanthropist, is widely celebrated for his transformative interventions in education, health and youth development across Ondo State and beyond.
