••• Promises Grassroots Representation
A chieftain of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Hon. Adeola Fynch, has formally declared her intention to contest the Akure South Constituency 1 seat in the Ondo State House of Assembly ahead of the 2027 general elections.
In a statement made available to journalists in Akure, Fynch said her decision followed wide consultations with family members, party stakeholders, community leaders and residents of the constituency.
Describing herself as a daughter of the soil, the aspirant said she was motivated by a deep desire to serve and to give effective legislative voice to the people of Akure South Constituency 1.
According to her, her aspiration is anchored on people-focused representation that prioritises youth empowerment, quality education, improved healthcare delivery, infrastructural development and inclusive economic growth.
Fynch noted that Akure South Constituency 1 is blessed with vast human and natural resources which, she said, require purposeful leadership and responsive legislation to fully harness.
She pledged to pursue a legislative agenda driven by transparency, accountability, grassroots participation and policy excellence, adding that her experience across public service, private enterprise and community development has prepared her for the task ahead.
“I am presenting myself with a renewed vision to serve our people diligently and equitably, guided by the principles of justice, equity and progress,” she said.
The APC aspirant called on party members, traditional institutions, youths, women groups and other stakeholders to support her ambition, describing her aspiration as a collective movement towards responsible and inclusive representation.
“This journey is not just about elections; it is about building a constituency that works for everyone,” Fynch added.
