The Ondo PBAT Mandate Elders Forum has extended warm felicitations to Mrs. Yinka Tunji-Ojo, mother of the Minister of Interior, Hon. Olubunmi Tunji-Ojo, on the occasion of her birthday.
In a statement issued on Friday, the Forum described Mrs. Tunji-Ojo as a woman of exceptional grace, strength and character, noting that her virtues of discipline, sacrifice and moral upbringing are clearly evident in the national leadership qualities displayed by her son.
The statement was jointly signed by Chief Erastus Akeju (Chairman), Hon. Ebenezer Alabi (Secretary) and Hon. Demola Ijabiyi (Facilitator).
The Elders commended Mrs. Tunji-Ojo for instilling values of integrity, compassion and resilience, which they said have become hallmarks of the Minister’s people-focused approach to governance—especially his support for elders, the vulnerable and the wider Nigerian society.
According to the Forum, mothers remain central to nation-building, and Mrs. Tunji-Ojo’s positive influence extends beyond her family into the broader development of Ondo State and Nigeria.
“As elders, we celebrate Mama on this special day and pray that Almighty God grants her long life in good health, abundant joy and fulfilment. May she witness greater achievements and honour in the lives of her children and generations to come,” the statement read.
The Forum also wished Mrs. Tunji-Ojo a peaceful and memorable celebration, while reaffirming its respect for her role as a mother, guide and pillar of support.
