BREAKING: Aiyedatiwa in Closed-Door Meeting with Ondo Federal Lawmakers

Ondo State Governor, Lucky Aiyedatiwa, is having a closed-door meeting with federal lawmakers from the state at the Government House Lodge, Akure, the state capital.

The lawmakers were led into the venue by the National Vice Chairman of the All Progressives Congress (APC), South-West, Isaacs Kekemeke.

Also present at the meeting are the Governor’s Political Adviser, Kolawole Babatunde who is the Special Adviser on Legislative and Party Affairs, as well as the Deputy Speaker of the Ondo State House of Assembly Gbegudu Ololade James.

As at the time of filing this report, the lawmaker representing Ondo West and East Federal Constituency, Abiola Makinde, is yet to arrive, while other members of the House of Representatives from the state are already in attendance.

Details of the meeting are not known, but Roving Reporters gathered that discussions will be held behind closed doors.

However, the engagement is believed to be the first formal meeting between Governor Aiyedatiwa and federal lawmakers from Ondo State since he assumed office.

Further details are expected to emerge.
