The first phase of the BTO4PBAT27 Ward Tour has commenced in Okitipupa town, Ondo State, as the political support group intensified grassroots mobilisation and stakeholder engagement in support of the Renewed Hope Agenda of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu.
The ward tour, organised by BTO4PBAT27, is designed to consolidate political support for the re-election of President Tinubu while deepening community-level participation in the ruling party’s programmes.
The initiative is being coordinated under the leadership of the Honourable Minister of Interior, Dr. Olubunmi Tunji-Ojo.
Speaking at the flag-off ceremony, the Okitipupa Local Government Coordinator of the group, Mr. Olalekan Akindehin, urged party members to remain steadfast in promoting the policies, achievements and vision of President Tinubu at the grassroots.
He emphasised unity, consistency and sustained engagement with residents as critical to the successful implementation and acceptance of the Renewed Hope Agenda.
In his remarks, the Publicity Secretary of BTO4PBAT27, Mr. Folajimi Adewumi Gbenga, charged ward coordinators to show leadership beyond their official designations by actively mobilising members and convening regular ward meetings to sustain community participation.
Also speaking, the Director-General of BTO4PBAT27, Ogbeni Adesuyi Adojutelegan, called on members to remain united, politically active and committed to strengthening the All Progressives Congress (APC) at the grassroots.
He further encouraged members of the support group to formally register with the APC to consolidate the party’s base ahead of future electoral contests.
As part of efforts to boost party growth, the Director-General announced the donation of one million naira to the APC in Okitipupa Local Government Area to support ongoing membership registration and mobilisation activities.
The event witnessed a large turnout of party members, ward coordinators and supporters, underscoring growing grassroots enthusiasm as the BTO4PBAT27 Ward Tour continues across other local government areas of Ondo State.
