Fear Grips Residents As Third Kidnapping Hits Ondo In Three Days

A businessman, identified as Chukwuemeka Kingsley, aged 45, has been kidnapped by unknown gunmen in Ogbese, Akure North local government Area of Ondo State.

The incident reportedly occurred in the early hours of Thursday, while the victim was traveling to Owo, throwing residents of the community into fear and anxiety.

Sources told Roving Reporters that the kidnappers have contacted the victim’s associates, demanding a ransom of ₦70 million for his release.

According to the source, the abductors issued a stern warning that the victim would be killed if the matter is reported to security agencies.

The abduction marks the third reported kidnapping in the area within the last three days, raising serious concerns over the deteriorating security situation in Ogbese and its environs.

Residents have called on security agencies and the state government to urgently intervene and restore confidence in the safety of lives and property in the area.
