The BTO4PBAT27 Ward Tour made a stop in Ikare-Akoko, Akoko North East Local Government Area of Ondo State, on Wednesday as part of efforts to strengthen grassroots mobilisation ahead of the 2027 general elections.
The event drew leaders and members of the All Progressives Congress (APC), alongside community stakeholders, in what organisers described as a strategic engagement to deepen political participation at the ward level.
Addressing attendees, the Publicity Secretary of BTO4PBAT27, Folajimi Adewumi Gbenga, urged party faithful and residents to take part in the ongoing APC e-registration exercise.
He explained that proper registration would enhance members’ access to opportunities and improve their involvement in party activities.
The group’s Akoko North East Coordinator, Olamilekan Kazeem, highlighted what he termed the developmental strides of President Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu, stating that ongoing reforms were designed to strengthen Nigeria’s long-term growth and stability.
He called for sustained support for the President’s administration.
Also speaking, Hon. Atinuke Momoh encouraged party supporters to promote the administration’s message within their communities, describing BTO4PBAT27 as a support platform focused on national renewal and good governance.
On youth inclusion, Hon. Kareem, Special Adviser to BTO on Youth Development, assured young people of increased empowerment and development opportunities, noting that youth-focused initiatives remained a priority.
Director-General of BTO4PBAT27, Hon. Adojutelegan Adesuyi Gideon, clarified that the group operates as a support structure and not as a pressure group or faction within the APC.
He urged participants to complete APC registration and obtain their Permanent Voter Cards (PVCs) ahead of future elections.
A major highlight of the tour was a ₦2 million donation by the Director-General to facilitate the registration of new party members in the local government area.
He emphasised unity and collective commitment to the party’s objectives.
The event concluded with a vote of thanks delivered by the Akoko North East Youth President, Raji Kazeem, who appealed to residents to continue supporting President Tinubu’s administration.
