The Senior Special Assistant to the Governor of Ondo State on Diaspora Matters, Mr Oluyemi Fasipe (popularly known as Yemie Fash), has congratulated Governor Lucky Aiyedatiwa and the people of Ondo State at home and in the diaspora on the occasion of the state’s 50th anniversary.

In a congratulatory message to mark the Golden Jubilee, Fasipe described the milestone as a celebration of resilience, unity and steady progress, noting that the past five decades reflect the enduring strength and hardworking spirit of the Ondo people.

According to him, Ondo indigenes both within the state and across the diaspora have continued to play significant roles in shaping the state’s development and enhancing its global image through investments, skills transfer and sustained engagement with their communities of origin.

Fasipe, who serves as SSA on Diaspora Matters, expressed pride in the growing impact of the Ondo diaspora, stressing that their contributions remain vital to the state’s economic growth, innovation drive and long-term development agenda.

“As we mark Ondo at 50, it is important to reflect on how far we have come, celebrate our collective achievements and renew our commitment to building a stronger and more prosperous Ondo State for future generations,” he said.

He wished the state continued progress and greater heights as it embarks on the next phase of its development journey.
